It has just been announced that comedian Peter Kay will flick the switch to light up the world famous Blackpool Illuminations on 29th August 2014
The switch on follows a live performance from the 2011 X Factor winners Little Mix.
The switch on starts a three day festival of entertainment on The Tower Festival Headland which includes a concert headlined by Rebecca Ferguson 2010 X Factor runner up and a Thriller Live show.
