The Strathdon Guest House, Blackpool has received a “Certificate of Excellence” from Trip Advisor for the last 10 years and has received the ” Trip Advisor Hall of Fame” award, which is only awarded to businesses who have received a Certificate of Excellence for 10 years consecutively.
The Strathdon Guest House, Blackpool has also received the “Certificate of Excellence 2015” award for consistently having 100% customer recommendation since joining Trip Advisor.
VisitEngland
The Strathdon Guest House, Blackpool has been assessed every year since 2006 by Quality in Tourism through Visit Britain (now VisitEngland) and has been given FOUR STARS for guest accommodation.
Their executive summary states “hospitality scores highly with a warm welcome received and the owners make guests feel at ease, the standards of cleanliness are also high and deserve praise”.
As part of their annual assessment, the assessor sampled our breakfast, looking at the choice and range of dishes offered, presentation and culinary skills, quality of ingredients and produce, and breakfast service and hospitality. Hotels and Guest Accommodation with exceptionally high scores qualify for a VisitEngland Breakfast Award. The Strathdon has received this award every year since 2013.
5 Star Food Hygiene Rating
The Strathdon Guest House Blackpool had a visit from Environmental Health during August 2012 and were awarded the full 5 stars for food hygiene. The Strathdon Guest House has retained the 5 stars rating every year.
Blackpool in Bloom 2011
The Strathdon Guest House is situated towards the middle of St. Chads Road; 1st prize winners in the category “Street of the Year” in the Blackpool in Bloom 2011 competition.
Blackpool in Bloom 2012
Fantastic news, St. Chads Road have been rewarded 1st prize in the category “Street of the Year” in the Blackpool in Bloom 2012 competition, that means we have claimed the prize two years running.
Street of the Year 2015
The title of Blackpool’s Street of the Year 2015 was awarded at an Awards ceremony at The Imperial Hotel, Blackpool on 20th June 2015.
The award was received from Blackpool Council and Blackpool Civic Trust.
